Deadly Explosions in Jakarta at the Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels
Our thoughts are with the families of the dead and injured and with the staff of the Ritz Carlton and the JW Marriott in Jakarta where two almost simultaneous blasts occurred early morning killing nine and injuring several others. Watch the video of the blast scene in Jakarta from ABC News. It has not yet been confirmed of the blasts were the results of bomb explosions or if the dead were hotel guests or staff. Many witnesses report seeing the lower floor windows of the hotels being shattered and smoke coming out of the buildings when the explosions occurred.
